In this tutorial, you can see how to combine chains, cup chains and more elements into 45cm long bracelet that will be warped around the wrist three times.
If you use the basic 45cm length, you can change the elements or chains and make a totally different look that is yours only, have fun creating!
12mm Rivoli with large metal chains
This bracelet is made with a base of a large chain with 12mm Rivoli settings that will make the center part of the bracelet. 45cm is the total light we need without the clasp or extension chain.
So, the bracelet base that we have is 16 cm long, which means we need to cut two pieces of 14.5cm from each chain and connect it one each side of the center bracelet to make a 45cm piece.
Three 39ss crystals with gourmet chains
This wrap around bracelet is made from a trio 39ss metal casting element soldered on a gourmet chain, this would be the center part of the bracelet. To make more place for crystals, we add a piece of 39ss cup chain bracelet on the sides.
The center bracelet is 15cm long, so we need two more parts of 15cm on each side to make a 45cm bracelet.
So, what you do is make two parts of the flat gourmet chain with 39ss cup chain for the sides of the bracelet. Each side is made by 8cm of gourmet chain, connected to the 39ss settings and then to a 3cm of flat gourmet, together they make a piece of 15cm to be connected on each side of the center bracelet.
Pendant with two cup chains bracelet
Another way to make a bracelet like that is to use two parts of cup chain for a bracelet, connect a pendant in the center and different chain on either side. TH cup chains with the pendant are 17cm long, so you need 14cm pieces from each chain to make a 45cm long bracelet.
These are just three ways to make a three layers bracelet, but if you take these tips for the lengths of the elements, creating these bracelets, you can make many different kinds of your own!
